The Master’s hands are ready. Ready to cradle you. Ready to transform you. Ready to catch you when you fall and to steady you when you stumble. Ready to heal you. The very hands that have held the waters in their hollow and with their breadth marked off the heavens, are at the ready to carry you. His touch will change you forever. Your life in His hands will be redeemed; your heart in His hands will be calmed; your purpose will be made clear.
Join us for the 2017 Women’s Retreat, In the Master’s Hands, March 24-25 held at Hope Community Church’s main campus. Combining biblical teaching, small group discussion, worship and some surprises along the way, this 2-day retreat will encourage your soul and help you see anew the precious gift we have in knowing the Master and being held in His loving hands.
This year we have two remarkable women sharing with us from God’s word: Mandy Desilets, Associate Director of Youth @ Hope and Jennifer Hiltebeitel, Director of the Widows and Orphans Ministry. Both women have hearts that yearn for those listening to see the Father, Son and Holy Spirit more clearly and will bring the Word alive for you.
The retreat will run from 7-9PM on Friday and from 9AM - 8PM on Saturday.
As part of Saturday’s activities, you will have the opportunity to paint one of two pictures. Please look of the back of the registration form and mark your selection.
Registration tables will be in the church lobby on Sundays, March 5, 12, and 19. Please stop in the lobby to fill out a registration form and hand it in with your full payment or mail it to Catherine Galanes at 1376 Nathan Hale Drive, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
We are pleased to announce we are offering childcare for the Saturday morning teaching sessions, 8:45 AM- 12:30 PM for children up to 8 years of age. Please register your child in advance as we will not be able to accommodate walk-ins. There is an additional fee of $10 for childcare for the first child and $5 for every additional child.
The cost for the retreat is $65. Your registration fee includes Friday night appetizers and dessert, Saturday lunch and dinner, and all program materials. There are a limited number of partial scholarships available; simply let your need be known by checking the line on the registration form and filling out the scholarship application included in this packet. (There is a Saturday morning only fee of $10 extended to those who will need to leave once childcare ends).
Women@Hope exists to help women, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey, to take the next step towards being the woman God desires them to be. Our retreat is one way we endeavor to reach that goal. We realize that this weekend may be a financial stretch for some. If you would like to contribute to the Women’s Ministry Assistance Account, which funds our scholarships, you may do so by writing a check out to Hope Community Church and indicating “WMAA” on the memo line.
