At Hope Community Church, we’re all about helping people explore what it means to have a relationship with Jesus and learning to follow him. No matter where you’ve been or what you believe, you’re welcome here. We meet each Sunday, for services that communicate hope found through Jesus. We use engaging music, straight-forward teaching to help people connect with a God who is incredibly passionate about you and your story. We hope you'll feel right at home here!

OUR HISTORY

With deep roots in a community we serve.

  1. 1868 - Union Chapel built at 740. N. Henderson Rd.
  2. 1945 - Name Changed to First Baptist Church of Abrams 
  3. 1957 - Name Changed to Abrams Community Chapel
  4. 1962 - New Space built on the 740 N. Henderson property to accommodate growth.
  5. 2000 - Name Change to Hope Community Church
  6. 2006 - New main campus site built across street at 150 E. Beidler Rd. to accommodate growth. 
  7. 2021 - Converted building at 740 N. Henderson Rd. into the Love Works Resource Center to house food pantry, clothing sharing room and other community resources.
